Former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress Tori Spelling, recently revealed on her Instagram that she has been hospitalized due to experiencing dizziness and difficulty breathing.
Spelling took to her Instagram Story to express her frustration with those who “gas lit” her when she was too ill to work.
In her Instagram Story, Spelling said that doctors have been running a battery of tests and that her symptoms include difficulty breathing, high blood pressure, and dizziness. She also expressed her desire to be released soon so that she can get home to her children. Spelling is a mother to five kids, ranging in age from 5 to 15.
Spelling has been open about her health struggles in the past, most recently discussing her need to get her breast implants redone after being warned of potential health complications.
In February, Spelling opened up to E! News about the need to get her breast implants redone after 20 years. She said she was made aware of potential health risks associated with the implants, but had been putting off the surgery. “I got them when I was really young. And I didn’t know that at a certain point they would have an expiration. I didn’t know that you would have to do it again,” she said.
Spelling was prompted to finally take action when her eldest daughter Stella expressed her concern for her mother’s health. Spelling said that her daughter’s words hit home and made her realize that she needed to put her health first. “So when [Stella] said, ‘Are you getting it done?’ I was like, you know what, why am I not getting it done? Because my main goal, my kids are my everything. So this year coming up, scheduling that surgery, getting healthy — that is taking the forefront. Because it’s OK to put yourself first. In the end, it is for them, anyway.”
While the cause of Spelling’s hospitalization remains unknown, she is sure to be in our thoughts as she undergoes tests and hopes to be released soon. We wish her a speedy recovery and remind everyone to take care of their health and prioritize their own needs.
