In response to the viral video, Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter, took to Twitter to weigh in. Carter, who played the iconic superhero in the 1970s CBS series, posted a clip from an old episode of Wonder Woman that showed her character destroying a wooden chair, slamming her fist through its wooden bottom.
“I trained at Waffle House,” Carter, 71, joked.

The actress’ humorous take on the Waffle House brawl was beloved by Twitter users, many of whom responded to her tweet.
One user wrote, “WW still killing the game!”
While another wrote, “You are a gift to the universe”
One Twitter user said, using several laughing emojis, “This had me rolling with laughter that I had to scroll the comments. Non stop laughter. I sooooo needed this as I’ve been under the weather. Wonder Woman was always my answer, since I was little, when people asked who is my all time favorite superhero.”
The video clip of the Waffle House fight shared last week shows several customers attacking employees after allegedly becoming angered by slow service.
“The craziest Waffle House fight in Austin TX straight up WWE match,” Twitter user @rbaylor_74 captioned the clip.
However, the altercation was actually caught on camera in September 2021. It’s unclear if any arrests were made following the fast-food franchise fight.
There were no arrested after the incident and the employee reported that she was blacklisted from working at Waffle House after the incident.
The viral video, which was originally posted on December 22nd, has now clocked up more than 1.9 million views and shows a Waffle House employee fending off a seat that is hurled in her direction.
Lynda Carter’s humorous take on the incident has certainly given people something to laugh about, and her tweet has become its own viral hit with over 3.8 million views!
