Fall is a favorite time of the year for many. For some, it brings the joy of pumpkin-flavored drinks, food, and beautiful scenery. But for one pup, it brings joy so evident you can see that she loves nothing more than jumping into a colossal pile of leaves and disappearing.
The 9-year-old Lab named Stella has become famous with videos that have gone viral over the years bringing joy to many for her love of leaves and her darling personality.
Stella’s contagious joy for the season has garnered over 434,000 followers on Instagram and 393,000 on TikTok.
The videos show Stella and her pup sister, Mabel, along with a few others the beautiful outdoors. Stella and her family live in Maine which explains all the stunning fall foliage.
Jody Hartman, Stella’s owner, explained on Instagram that her leaf-jumping started in October 2014 while he was raking “the obscene amount of leaves” in their yard.
“Stella just launched her little Labrador body into a giant pile without any prompting and disappeared,” he wrote. “I brought out the orb of life (a.k.a. her tennis ball) to keep things rolling and busted out the camera for dogumentation.”
Stella, now world-famous, has garnered comments from around the world.
One fan from Berlin said, “Pure joy. Stella, Mabel, Judith – you make my day much better. Thanks ????”
Another wrote, “You could sell tickets to Stella’s live leaf jumps! She’s hilarious.”
Another fan on Stella’s youtube video said, “This never gets old! Fall is my favorite season, as temperatures are cooler, leaves are beautiful AND Stella is aiming for her leafy towers.
