Tom Cruise Made This Vulgar Comment To Fellow Actress During Filming

Emily Blunt, 39, recollected the time when her Hollywood co-star, Tom Cruise, delivered some tough love on the set of their 2014 action film, “Edge of Tomorrow.”

Cruise advised her to “stop being such a p—y” as she struggled with her 85-pound costume.

Per news reports,  Blunt stated on an episode of the “SmartLess” podcast, “We had to wear these enormous suits, which I think would’ve been great if we had CGI’d them, but we wanted to do it in a tactile way.”

“When you hear the word ‘tactile,’ you think that sounds nice and cozy. There was nothing cozy about these suits. It was like 85 pounds. It was so heavy, the first time I put it on I started to cry, and [Cruise] didn’t know what to do,” she continued.

Blunt said that Cruise “stared at her” as she got more panicked about wearing the suit.

“I was like, ‘Tom, I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this shoot,’ and just started to cry. I said, ‘I’m feeling a bit panicky about the whole shoot,’” she confessed.

Cruise’s alleged response to his distraught co-star had her weeping again — but in a good way.

“He just stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and he goes, ‘Come on, stop being such a p—y, OK?’” she said, stating that his response caught her off guard and made her laugh.

In “Edge of Tomorrow,” Cruise and Blunt play time-traveling soldiers stuck in a time loop attempting to save humanity after Earth falls under attack from aliens.

Though the film did well at the box office, Blunt not only had to endure the extremely heavy costume but also said that she injured her ribs and collarbone. She reportedly told podcast hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett that her affected bones “are still dodgy.”
