Tragic Update on Actor’s Health After Brain Aneurysm

Tom Sizemore, the actor best known for his roles in films like “True Romance”, “Natural Born Killers”, and “Black Hawk Down”, has been placed in a coma and is receiving end-of-life treatment after suffering a brain aneurysm following a stroke last week.

On Saturday, February 18th, Sizemore collapsed at home and was taken to a Los Angeles hospital where doctors discovered he had suffered a stroke. After further examination, it was determined that the stroke had resulted in a brain aneurysm.

Sizemore’s representative, Charles Lago, has since confirmed that doctors have informed the actor’s family that there is no further hope and have recommended an end-of-life decision. Lago added that the family is now deciding on end-of-life matters and asked for privacy during this difficult time.

Sizemore is survived by his twin sons from a previous relationship and his ex-wife, actress Maeve Quinlan, whom he was married to from 1996 to 1999.

The actor has been fighting substance abuse and addiction issues for decades. In an interview with Fox News Digital in 2021, Sizemore said he had been trying to get sober since 1991 and discussed his periods of sobriety that he would eventually relapse from.

He later released a memoir in 2013 detailing his “wild ride through Hollywood” titled “By Some Miracle I Made It Out of There”. The synopsis of the book stated that his days had been “filled with overdoses, suicide attempts, and homelessness”.

In 2003, Sizemore was convicted of assault and battery on ex-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss, a former Hollywood madam. She testified that Sizemore punched her in the jaw at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, and once beat her so badly she could not attend the premiere of “Black Hawk Down.”

Sizemore denied he abused Fleiss and accused her of faking a picture showing her bruises. The pair eventually reconciled during an episode on “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.”
