WATCH: Tyson Foods CFO in Trouble After Being Found in Stranger’s Bed

Tyson Foods CFO John Tyson recently apologized to investors after his arrest for public intoxication and trespassing. The incident occurred when a woman allegedly found Tyson asleep in her bed around 2 a.m., and his breath reportedly smelled of alcohol.

“Mr. Tyson! John! Fayetteville Police Department, you’re not in your house,’” an officer loudly tells Tyson according to the footage obtained by Vice.

“John, I need you to wake up and talk to me before I drag you out of here butt naked,” the officer continues.

“The girl who lives here doesn’t know you. Came home to find you asleep in her bed,” another cop says.

The woman who lived at the home reportedly told investigators that the front door was left unlocked, which allowed Tyson to enter the premises.

Tyson is the son of the company’s chairman and great-grandson of its founder and was appointed CFO in late September. His appointment raised some eyebrows on Wall Street due to his relative lack of experience.

Tyson’s apology on the company’s quarterly conference call did little to reassure investors, who were already concerned about the company’s financial performance.

“I’m embarrassed, and I want to let you know that I take full responsibility for my actions,” Tyson said.

“I just wanted you guys to hear this directly from me and to know that I’m committed to making sure this never happens again,” he added.

Shares of Tyson were roughly flat in morning trading after the company’s fiscal fourth-quarter earnings fell short of Wall Street’s estimates, though its revenue did top estimates.

The incident and its resulting apology have raised questions about corporate governance and accountability at Tyson Foods. CEO Donnie King said that the company’s independent board of directors is overseeing a review of the matter. However, the board has not yet released any statement regarding the incident or the review.
