Jason Momoa Bares It All!

Jason Momoa has been getting a lot of attention lately, and it’s not just because of his roles in Aquaman or Game of Thrones. The actor recently shared a steamy video on Instagram while wearing a traditional Hawaiian Malo.

The garment is a loincloth worn by Hawaiian men for ceremonial occasions and is usually made of the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree. The video was shared to promote his clothing range called So iLL. In it, Momoa wore a lavender T-shirt and sandals in combination with the same pattern of the tribal tattoo on his left forearm. He then walked back to his trailer and showed off his backside.

Momoa has been showing off his Hawaiian Malo for a while now. Back in November, he shared a slew of scorching snaps on Instagram wearing the same attire. His impressive array of tattoos were on full display and he even turned around to show a glimpse of his peachy behind. He also wore it while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his TV show Chief of War.

“That’s a traditional Malo, it’s what the Hawaiians wear,” Jason explained.

‘I’m doing a show. I’m a creator and writer and director and producer and actor on this Apple series called Chief of War and it’s all 1780s, 1790s Hawaii. That’s what I wear every day, and I was just getting ready for the role because I like to get into character and so I was tanning my white a**.”

When Jimmy asked Jason if a Malo is comfortable, he said, “Oh my god, yes! I actually don’t like wearing clothes anymore. I’m in it every day. I wear it all the time.”

Development on Chief of War was initially revealed to the public in April. The series will center on “the epic and unprecedented telling of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view.” Momoa will write, executive produce, star and co-create the show. Temuera Morrison has also joined the cast, set to portray King Kahekili, who previously ruled over Maui.

One Twitter user jokingly posted,

Physical production on the series commenced last month at various locations in New Zealand. The show will premiere on the Apple TV+ streaming service at an unspecified date in the future.
