The Little Leprechaun That Could: McGregor Responds to Neeson’s Criticism!

Liam Neeson recently caused a stir when he made some controversial comments about UFC star Conor McGregor, referring to him as a “little leprechaun.” Although McGregor did not respond directly to Neeson’s comments, he did take to Twitter to share a related thought, writing, “Irish proud – always,” alongside the Ireland flag.

Neeson’s remarks came just days before UFC president Dana White announced McGregor’s return to the ring. The Irishman is set to face Michael Chandler after the pair will coach against each other on the forthcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” White did not reveal a date or location for the fight, but said that details will be announced “soon.”

McGregor has remained near-constantly in the news despite his absence from fighting. Last week, he said on Instagram that he had been struck by a car while biking.

“I could’ve been dead there, mate, look,” McGregor said in the video.

McGregor also faced allegations in January that he assaulted a woman on his yacht in Spain last summer. The unidentified woman reportedly told police in Ireland that she “feared for her life,” and that he kicked her and punched her in the face. She also alleged that he threatened to drown her. Through a spokesperson, McGregor denied the allegations.

Conor McGregor is one of the most recognizable faces in the UFC and has been for some time. His fighting career has had many highs and lows, but he has always been a fan favorite.

McGregor’s return to the octagon is highly anticipated. His upcoming bout with Michael Chandler is sure to be an exciting one, and fans will be eager to see if McGregor can return to his winning ways.
