Zendaya stunned on the red carpet at the 2023 SAG Awards on Sunday night, wearing a pink corset dress by Valentino adorned with blush roses. The 26-year-old Euphoria star wore her chocolate bob to her shoulders and finished off the look with a diamond-encrusted choker.
Zendaya is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series against Elizabeth Debicki, Jennifer Coolidge, Julia Garner and Laura Linney. She previously won a Golden Globe for Best Performance in a Television Series – Drama for her performance as Rue in the hit HBO series.
For her Golden Globe Speech which she wasn’t able to receive in person, she wrote, “I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to be there tonight, but I just wanted to say thank you to @goldenglobes for this incredible honor,” she later wrote on Instagram following her absence from the ceremony. “To my fellow nominees, it is a privilege to be named beside you, I admire you all deeply. Thank you to my Euphoria family, without you, none of this is possible. Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has allowed Rue into theirs. I think everyone knows how much she means to me, but the fact that she can mean something to someone else is a gift. I’m honestly at a loss for words as I type this, all I can say is thank you thank you thank you. Goodnight.”
The actress has had a remarkable awards season so far, making history as the first Black woman to win an Emmy twice. She also won the NAACP Image Award for Best Performance in a Television Series – Drama on Saturday night.
“Oh wow, this is so special,” she said at the time the nominations were announced.
At the Image Awards, Zendaya made a dazzling entrance with two stunning looks. For the red carpet, she chose a jaw-dropping couture Versace dress from the fashion house’s Spring 2002 collection. Before taking the stage to present, she slipped into a two-piece Prada ensemble.
In addition to her remarkable wins this awards season, Zendaya also gave her boyfriend Tom a low-key shout-out when she won her Emmy. “Well, I didn’t have to text my mom because my mom was already there, she’s here tonight, which is very special,” she said. “And I texted my boyfriend.”
